It’s time. You need it. You know you do. We’ve discussed rest many times in Faith & Fitness Magazine.
God is very capable and desires to give you great peace, hope, courage and strength. But like fitness the gains aren’t made during the WORKout. The rest is the time for recovery and growth. There is no way around it. This is the science of labor.
In our labor driven lifestyle, rest may be one of the most foreign concepts. Many avoid it because they don’t think they can afford it or because they are afraid of it. They want to maintain the noise for fear of what they may hear (God’s voice?) if they are quiet for long.
