DAVID LYONS – FINDING STRENGTH IN JESUS ALONE
In 2006, at the age of 47, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an incurable degenerative disease that attacks the nervous system.
I was faced with a tremendous trial ahead and a lifetime challenge to overcome. As a former boxer, martial artist and actively a bodybuilder, this diagnosis was a difficult pill to swallow.
I was a champion and in my human mind I felt I was Superman. But, learning I was not, I was humbled in my walk and brought to the reality that Jesus is our strength and I am just a man.
