JOE LOGALBO – TRADING EGO FOR GOD’S PRESENCE

Being humble, returning grace to others just as Jesus returns to me, denying myself (which is not always easy), is worship and partnership with God. I have two choices in everything I do… to partner with Jesus and be more like Him, or exploit myself, obeying my pride and self-praise. In everything I do, I want God as my partner; My spotter as I workout, my business confidant, my closest friend. Why would I throw that away for an ego?

– Joe LoGalbo, Muscle Shoals, AL

My favorite passage from James Allen’s The Might Of Meekness: The meek man is found in the time of trial; when other men fall he stands.”

My favorite BIBLE passage related to this: 1 Peter 5:5B “‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
