Simple Faith…Simple Fitness…Simple Food

When did life get so complicated? Life used to be so much easier back in the day. What if we got back to the simplicity of life and focused on what really matters?

Simple Faith

God doesn’t want our relationship with Him to be complicated.

Simple faith means to see ourselves the way God sees us.

Simple faith means to trust God’s love and simply allow God to love us.

Simple faith means to trust in the blessings that God wants to bestow on us. Blessings that are not earned by our efforts, but free gifts for those of us who simply have faith in the death of Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurrection.

Simple faith means to love God and love others as ourselves.

Simple Fitness

When did fitness get so complicated? What happened to simply moving our body?

It’s not unusual for my clients to only have one thousand steps at the end of the day.

Simple fitness means moving our body.

Simple fitness means being physically active.

It doesn’t have to be in the form of structured exercise as the new thing now is an active couch potato. Someone who exercises regularly, but sits the rest of the day.

Simple fitness means moving this amazing vessel that God gave us on a consistent basis. No job is worth sacrificing our health for.

Simple fitness is just that, simple. How about a few push-ups, a hike in nature or a simple bike ride in the neighborhood? Simple right?

Simple Food

When did nutrition get so complicated? When has there been so much confusion around food? We have paleo, keto, high fat, low fat, vegan, vegetarian and carnivore diets.

What if we got back to simple nutrition? What if we went back to the way God intended us to eat? Eating real whole foods in their most natural state.

I think Michael Pollan said it best, “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.” Seven simple words that simplify nutrition.

I imagine a world less complicated than it is now.

One where we choose to live our lives seeing ourselves the way God sees us.

Simple faith.

One where we choose to take care of our bodies by moving on a regular basis.

Simple fitness.

One where we choose to eat real whole foods so we can be full of energy and vitality.

Simple food.

I know our lives and the world we live in would be a much better place if we lived a life of simple faith, simple food and simple nutrition.
