The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis has served metro Indianapolis and surrounding communities since 1854. They offer twelve branches in the area. They offer Christian emphasis in their programming. At least one of their branches the Arthur Jordan YMCA has a Christian emphasis committee and an on-site chapel newly completed in 2007. That YMCA branch is doing a book study summer program in partnership with Faith & Fitness Magazine.
