Heh, summer is a great time to be creative and have fun with your fitness activities. As a human performance specialist, I’m always looking for new and innovative ways to get fit while doing something functional and helping others. So for example, get green fit by hand cutting your lawn or someone elses using a push mower – what an awesome workout! Or, consider going for an eco-fit walk with a garbage bag in hand and picking up your road and neighborhood. I believe that every home should have an organic garden planted. Keeping it weeded, watered and healthy can be a great workout. Also, remember to eat fresh produce while it’s in season – keep it local an natural (no artificial anything, right?).
