During my middle school years, our basketball team huddles always ended with: 1-2-3 CHRIST FIRST! This was a great reminder for me to always keep God at the center of my life. We need to remember that we are on God’s team, and we’ve already won the trophy! Christ died so that we could live forever with Him. And, because God loves us and puts us first, we can share that love with others. 1 John 4:12 says that Christ’s love can then be made “complete” in us! So, our lives should be ones of praise, always glorifying our God for his amazing work in our lives. On the field, at work, home, or wherever we go, it is so important to keep CHRIST FIRST!
