Massive arms, ripped abs, muscle mass, vascularity, definition, symmetry, and the perfect V-shaped body are just some of the many words used to describe a bodybuilder’s physique. These men aren’t just built, jacked, swoll and shredded. They do some serious time in the gym, and eat like there’s no tomorrow (as much as 3800 calories per day). If they’re doing a really good job of it they wear clothing that is 3XL or bigger. That about sizes up the story for most bodybuilders. But get ready to meet some who have met God in a big way. These guys are bodybuilders who are BIG on Jesus.

While the bodybuilding culture can certainly bulk up on superlatives, the men featured here aren’t looking for any exaggerated identity. They simply want to be known as Christ-followers – lovers of God. Where doing the extreme and then comparing yourself among others is “just what you do”, these guys do it differently. They’ll be the first to tell you they’re not perfect – But they’re perfectly comfortable in being dependent on God.
Take a look at their stories. Don’t just read, watch and listen – open your heart to what God wants to personally show you. This is your tool for powerful, healthy and passionate living.
