With regards for passing judgment on GYMNOS. It is understandable the frustration with the so-called “meatheads”, “GYMNOS”, etc. As Health & Fitness professional at a Junior College and man of faith I find it is my responsibility to never pass judgement on others. If people are new to training, ask them if they need assistance, if they don’t accept that is their choice. Extending that helping hand could open a whole new world to these individuals. When you train, train at max intensity, rise above the ego driven and self-centered individuals and show them the Lord’s strength. In this case, “Stephen” should have been approached “immediately” and asked if he needed assistance from either a member or definitely staff. Not only is it a health issue but could be a possible legal issue in the future. If this individual in my mind doesn’t want any assistance from anyone, then rules and regulations are the next recourse, both health and legal. If he is persistant then the next recourse is documentation of everything, and if occurences continue he is breach of gym policy and can be banned from the gym. But, NEVER, NEVER, pass judgement on others. Our judgement day is coming and God will judge us on our merits in life as well as death. Where do you want to stand with God when you meet him? I know where I want to stand.
God Bless, Phil4:13.
