Build Your Body – Transform Your Life

We all desire to live healthy, strong, and vibrant lives. Yet, many of us find ourselves trapped in cycles of quick-fix diets, unsustainable exercise programs, and fleeting health trends that fail to deliver lasting results. The reality is, our bodies were not designed to be sick, weak, or frail — even as we approach the later stages of life. Instead, God’s plan for us is to thrive, both physically and spiritually. 3 John 1:2 says, Beloved, I wish above all things that you would prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.

As a 21-time world champion natural bodybuilder, life coach, and Pastor I teach a process of ‘Health and Holiness’ that is rooted in both physical and spiritual nutrition and exercise. This process can lead to truly transforming your health and helping you to live a life of holiness. Transformation, however, is not something you can achieve on your own. It requires the renewing of your mind and surrendering to God. As Romans 12:2 reminds us, be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.

By incorporating God’s Blueprint for Healthy Holy Living, you will progress closer to living Your Champion Life — strong, healthy, and wholly aligned with God’s design. By embracing this lifestyle, you allow God, the true Transformer, to renew your mind and guide you toward His perfect will.

PHYSICAL NUTRITION: FUELING YOUR BODY

Proper nutrition provides the energy and fuel needed to live a strong, vibrant, healthy life. It’s not about deprivation; it’s about making wise choices that support the health, fat loss, and muscle-sculpting goals you desire for your body. God’s Blueprint calls for a balanced approach to nutrition that is specifically designed around your personal goals — one that prioritizes nourishing, whole foods and avoids processed, unhealthy options.

SPIRITUAL NUTITION: FEEDING THE SOUL

Spiritual nutrition comes from immersing yourself in the Word of God. Through scripture, you gain wisdom, encouragement, and strength to navigate life’s challenges. Studying the Word transforms your perspective, aligning your heart and mind with God’s truth. This spiritual nutrition empowers you to resist worldly influences and live a life of purpose and faith.

PHYSICAL EXERCISE: CONSISTENCY LEADS TO QUANTITY & QUALITY OF LIFE

Physical exercise is a critical component of a healthy life. Incorporating both cardiovascular exercise and resistance training into your routine is essential for a balanced approach to health. Cardio exercise, performed six days a week, is vital for quantity (or longevity) of life. It strengthens the heart, improves lung capacity, boosts circulation, reduces the risk of chronic diseases, and enhances your energy levels and stamina.

Resistance training is critical for quality of life. Engaging in strength-based exercises helps to build and maintain muscle mass, improve bone density, increase flexibility, and support joint health. Together, cardio and resistance training provide a comprehensive fitness plan that equips you to achieve and maintain your health, fitness, and fat loss goals.

Champion Tip: The key to fitness is to stay consistent and incorporate both cardio and resistance training exercises that you enjoy. When you look forward to your workouts, you’re more likely to stick with them long-term. Find activities that you genuinely like — home resistance training, going to the gym, cycling, swimming, walking — and be dedicated! One of the main components of a successful workout regimen that leads to lasting results is being able to work out from home. SPRITUAL EXERCISE: STRENGTHENING YOUR CONNECTION WITH GOD

Prayer is the spiritual exercise that connects you directly to God. It’s not only a time to present your requests but also an opportunity to listen and learn from Him. Through prayer, you can build faith, find clarity, and draw strength to overcome life’s struggles. It is God’s chosen path for communicating with Him and is essential for maintaining spiritual health.

Champion Tip: Find a consistent time each day when you can give God your best. Spend at least 15 minutes in focused prayer — both talking to God and listening to His instruction. This practice will strengthen your spiritual connection and guide you in living Your Champion Life.

MIND MAKEOVER: RENEWING YOUR THOUGHTS

Before you can be truly transformed, there must be a renewing of the mind. The word “renewing” means to remove the old and apply the new. In order to completely embrace the physical and spiritual transformation God has planned for you, you must first examine your life and thoughts and then align them with His truth.

True transformation occurs when you turn your life over to God and yield to His instruction. When something is broken or goes wrong inside you, God, being the creator of the “whole” person, is the only one who can reach into the depths of your being, destroy the yoke of bondage, and fix what is broken. In Proverbs 18:21 the Bible tells us that Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

BEGIN YOUR TRANSFORMATION NOW

Transformation is not just about change — it is about renewal and alignment with God’s perfect design. By addressing both our physical and spiritual needs, we can achieve the healthy, holy life God intends for us. Romans 12:2 calls us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, and this transformation begins when we surrender to God and follow His Blueprint for our lives.
