Dwell. What does it mean to you and your fitness lifestyle? For some it means getting to the gym for a couple hours or more each day, 6 or 7 days a week. For others it means to be obsessed with weight and dieting. To some people it is living with chronic pain or illness, a disability or the fear of getting weaker and older and trying to prevent both at all costs. For many they simply dwell on how they look, feel and stay happy, what all they can do and what others think of them.
In this issue of Faith & Fitness Magazine we invite you to consider the richness of what dwell can be for you when you put and keep Christ in the center of your fitness lifestyle. It’s a place of rest while also being in the best shape of your life. The physical fitness isn’t the end result, it naturally occurs when you’re in communion with God. In God’s presence your passions are where they should be, your challenges are in their proper place, your potential is defined by God.
Being in the presence of Christ can be your default, your first choice, the place you call #myfamiliarplace
