Bio:
Natoia Franklin is the owner of Serenity Life Fitness in Zion, Illinois. She started her health and fitness journey in 2011 when her primary physician told her that she needed to lose twenty pounds. She recalls, “I started doing Zumba® in my basement to lose the weight and soon discovered that I loved the way it made me feel — exhilarated, free, and fit! I thought to myself, ‘I could teach this!’ I became a licensed instructor in October 2011 and started teaching at an elementary school in Waukegan, Illinois.” After her sister lost 165 pounds by attending her classes, she was encouraged by her husband to pursue her wellness career.
Wellness is her passion. In addition to being a personal trainer, she has several group fitness certifications. In 2016, she became a Beachbody Master Trainer and Certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
Natoia is committed to empowering women to be their best spiritually, physically, and mentally. She gives them access to the tools and support necessary to transform their inner body. She says, “I believe God, has given us everything pertaining to life and godliness, and that it is His ultimate desire for us to live healthy, prosperous, and transformative lives.”
Natoia is a 2019 Redefined Conference panelist helping people understand how faith-centered fitness is effective in delivering great customer experience – in the flesh.
