Bio:
James Woodall started Woodall’s Fitness and Performance in 1995 in Las Vegas, as a traveling personal trainer. Back in the ’90’s traveling to a client’s home was very inventive and creative.
He graduated from UNLV with a degree in Fitness and Sports Management with an emphasis in Kinesiology. In Nevada he was a TV trainer for the local NBC affiliate and worked as a Rehabilitation Specialist for Olsten Kimberly Quality Care. He also does massage therapy.
In 2002 he and his family moved to North Carolina and served as the General Manager of a Planet Fitness. In 2003 Woodall’s Fitness Studio opened in Clayton, North Carolina. By 2010 the studio didn’t have enough space for all the business so in partnership with Barbie and Joel Tew the current studio was opened.
Woodall’s Fitness and Performance Center is the destination for athletes, post and pre surgical patients, kids sports and the Game Changes program to help students and parents with virtual learning while remaining active and keeping social interaction with each other.
James brings passion and fun to fitness in many ways including mace training. He has his Mace Fit Level 2 certification, is NASM Advanced Level certified, has Z-Health Level 3, is an Underground Strength Coach, Combine 360 certified, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, and has certifications in Battling Ropes Level 2 and RKC.
