Bio:
Debbie Brown is the Associate Director of Fitness & Recreation at Fitness @ Houston’s First where she has the privilege of leading the Fitness Ministry since 1996. She is certified as an instructor in various group exercise formats. Debbie serves as the Fitness & Ministry Resources lead for the Association of Church Sports and Recreation Ministries. She has spoken at Faith & Fitness Magazine’s Redefined Conference and was one of 4 recipients of the Faith & Fitness Magazine 2021 Fitness Ministry Award on behalf of Fitness @ Houston’s First.
Fitness @ Houston’s First is inspired by members and staff who want to grow deeper, live stronger and be unstoppable together! The fitness community consists of various fitness levels in all ages and life stages. Members come together to share life and love – and pursue life the way God designed. Together they stand strong in an ever-changing and challenging world to live vibrant for today and live with eternity in mind.
Her biggest joy is watching God transform lives through fitness as participants combine the spiritual and the physical together. She also enjoys watching God grow the ministry while using and blessing the efforts of the 15 Fitness Ministry staff.
Debbie and her husband Denny have a thirty-three-year-old daughter Jessica, and a ten-year old granddaughter Chloe.
