For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.

Walk in the light you now know.
Throughout our lives, God peels back layers. He takes us one step at a time to reveal more of His plan. He takes us step by step, illuminating our paths in stages as we are prepared to see it and to follow.
When I began sharing my faith and fitness journey, I was a Beachbody coach. It was what I knew at the time and the avenue that allowed me to share my story. Eventually, I realized that I didn’t want to be tied to a product, nor did I have to be, to help women break free from dieting and discover how to feel good in their body at their current age and stage of life. God is shining a light for us revealing what is acceptable to Him in our everyday lives.
To know Jesus is the ultimate of going from darkness to light. But that is simply the first step in learning to walk in the light.
On our journey, we must remain open to His goodness, righteousness, and truth. For each of us, it is different and unique. He has a specific plan designed for you, and one designed for me.
I followed that light originally to become a coach but then He provided light in a different direction, and I had to follow…not only for my business approach but also for my healthy living approach.
Are you walking in the light? Has He changed the direction of the light? Have you followed?
To walk as a child of the light means that you are moving forward, taking action every time you hear His voice.
How is your progress?
He wants you to remain in the light – in His light – so that He can guide you where you can become the best version of yourself.
Be open to what He wants to reveal next.
Action Step
Take an early morning or evening walk that requires a flashlight. During this time, reflect on your walk with the Lord. Are you walking in the direction that His light is illuminating for you? Choose to walk in the light.
