Bio:
Michele was born in London, England to Caribbean parents. In their home, she learned the value of tenacity, hard work, and knowing how to cook with herbs and spices. Having moved to the U.S. with her family, Michele attended college and law school in Virginia and Washington, D.C. She is licensed in Virginia, and has practiced law since 1997.
Michele is passionate about the Arts (especially photography, writing, acting, and dance), expressive and artistic worship, intercessory prayer, justice, mercy, fitness, health, Classic movies, natural anti-inflammatories, and a periodically well-deserved slice of carrot cake.
Having lost her right eye as an infant, Michele struggled with unhealthy perceptions of her own beauty and value. But this loss has been used to empower and fuel her with courage, empathy, strength, tenacity, and humor.
Having participated in a triathlon, a figure contest, and several liturgical dance productions in recent years, Michele’s enduring loves include body-building, kick-boxing, dancing with fellow members of Miami Young Adult Christian Theatre (MYACT) Dance Studio, and encouraging young people who are inclined to heed good counsel (especially those who tend to believe they lack the intelligence necessary to compete with their peers).
Michele serves the community as an attorney in South Florida.
