Charles Capone
Charles Capone lives and runs in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. He and his wife, Beverly, are members of Alexandria Presbyterian Church, on the Virginia side of the Potomac (where he also runs). There he has served as an elder and leads the Church ministry to the elderly. Capone took up endurance training and running in 2012, at the age of 52, and has since completed five marathons, 18 half marathons, and numerous other events. In December 2017 he qualified for the 2019 Boston Marathon. Wherever he travels he looks for opportunities to run. That includes such iconic locations as the Acropolis in Athens, Duomo Square in Florence, Ipanema Beach in Rio, and, of course, Central Park, in New York City.
